Celebrate art and community at the Lincolnville Arts Fest on Aug. 17 and 18 in the town of Lincolnville.
Guests can tour open studios throughout the town and experience an outdoor pop-up show hosted by Windsor Chairmakers (on Rt.1). Individual studio event times may vary. In general, the tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The Lincolnville Arts Fest is an initiative born out of the passion for the arts that thrives in town. This two-day event will highlight the rich diversity of artists, artisans and crafters who contribute to the colorful tapestry of Lincolnville’s artistic landscape.
A Lincolnville Arts Fest after-party will take place Aug. 18 with music and food at the Tranquility Grange. Relax with the artists who opened their studios for the festival, and enjoy an evening of local music with neighbors.
Sticking with the theme of Lincolnville Arts, there will be performances from four Lincolnville-based musical acts from 4 to 8 p.m.
The LCS eighth grade class will offer pulled-pork sandwiches and drinks as part of their fundraiser.
There is a suggested ticket price of $10 (not including food), but guests are asked to pay what they can afford.
Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Carpooling is encouraged.
