Belfast painter David Estey will exhibit 20 paintings at The Highlands Senior Living, 30 Governor’s Way, Topsham, from July 3 to 29, with a talk on July 16 at 2:30 p.m. The public is invited, after sign-in, to the talk and the exhibit during normal business. Call 877-295-3747 for more information.
Estey is a Maine native who has lived, exhibited and taught art in Baltimore-Washington, North Carolina, the Mid-Atlantic States and Maine, in addition to a federal career in public affairs. He is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and George Washington University and recent president of the Union of Maine Visual Artists (UMVA). His improvisational paintings have been in 28 solo shows, over 100 group and juried exhibits, and been collected in 21 states and seven countries. He has produced and documented over 11,000 pieces of art.
