The Gilded Age Gala will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Zillman Art Museum in downtown Bangor, a collaborative event between the Bangor Art Society and the Zillman Art Museum to celebrate the Bangor Art Society’s 150th anniversary.
This is a one-night-only celebration of art, elegance and legacy. Experience an enchanted evening of fine art, music, food, drink and performances inspired by the opulence of the Gilded Age.
Founded in 1875 during the flourishing era of the Gilded Age, The Bangor Art Society has long been a cornerstone of the city’s vibrant creative community, fostering artistic expression, education, and cultural enrichment for generations.
The gala not only commemorates the society’s storied history but celebrates the cultural and artistic contributions that have shaped the region over the past century and a half.
Period or artistic attire is encouraged but not required for this event, and guests will have the opportunity to pose in front of beautiful themed backdrops for individual or group photos.
A limited number of tickets are available. Tickets are $50 per person and available through Eventbrite or on the BAS website at thebangorartsociety.org/gilded-age-gala.
