Shaw Jewelry in Northeast Harbor invites the community to its summer exhibitions, on view July 31 to Aug. 13, with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. July 31.

This season’s lineup features a dynamic range of artists and jewelers.

Hughes Bosca

Caro-Gray and Mary bring their signature boldness to high-karat gold jewelry, studded with gemstones and rich with inventive forms. Drawing from a “global kitchen” of inspiration, their deluxe designs are known for their playful sophistication and have cultivated a devoted following. Guests are invited to meet the artists July 31 to Aug. 2.

Sam Shaw

In his series “New York at Night: Oil on Glass,” Sam Shaw continues his abstract exploration of the human form, this time integrating it with cityscapes. His layered oil-on-glass works combine translucent planes of bodies and buildings into a seamless visual rhythm, alongside sculptural objects made from “abandoned body parts” — intriguing, not eerie. Shaw will be present at the opening on July 31.

Fisher & Fine

Kate Fisher returns for her eighth year, presenting a collection of estate jewelry. From Art Deco elegance to Victorian romance and Mid-Century modernism, her vintage pieces offer one-of-a-kind craftsmanship and lasting style. She will be available to meet visitors Aug. 1 to 3.

Norman Keyes

In his second year exhibiting at Shaw Jewelry, Norman Keyes presents “Shadow and Light,” a body of oil paintings both narrative and personal. His latest work reflects “elemental moments,” including nocturnes inspired by time spent in off-grid Maine cottages.
