Artists are being sought for the third annual juried large format exhibition by the Boothbay Region Art Foundation (BRAF), “ARTinME.” The show, which will be on view from Oct. 1 to Nov. 8, will be held at the BRAF Gallery, 1 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor.

The “ARTinME” exhibition is open to all full- or part-time Maine artists working in large 2D format in various mediums and styles. Small sculptures are also welcome. Prizes will be awarded during the opening reception, which will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 4.

Works will be juried by well-known artists David Estey and Jaap Helder. Estey has been an artist his entire career and recently served as president of the Union of Maine Visual Artists. A lifelong painter, Helder approaches art with a profound sense of wonder and curiosity, qualities he will bring to his role as juror.

Boothbay Region Art Foundation is at 1 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor. The prospectus for “ARTinME,” along with other details, is available on the BRAF website, www.boothbayartists.org.
