The Deer Isle Artists Association proudly presents “Small Works,” an all-member show, from Aug. 26 to Sept. 20. This eagerly anticipated annual show has been extended this year by popular demand to a full month.
An impressive group of 40 member artists will offer a variety of small works, in mediums including painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, weaving, woodwork, glass and jewelry.
Buyers will be able to carry away work when it is purchased. As work is sold, it will be replenished with new pieces, so patrons can return often to purchase beautiful art to collect or to give as unique gifts.
A reception was held on Aug. 29.
The next show, “Moon Rise,” will open in the gallery on Sept. 23.
