Bourne has been working on a magnificent new body of work all summer, wrapping up August with a residency at the Annex Water Street studio. A selection of work was on display through Aug. 31.
While her residency has come and gone, you can still see Hannah Bureau’s newest work. Whether in-town or elsewhere, everyone can enjoy Hanna Bureau 2025, an online show of recent work, including pieces fresh from her residency at Annex Arts.
We’ve also bid farewell to Annex Arts’ fellow, Viktor Butko. A selection of work from his summer-long residency remains on display when you visit the gallery in person.
Annex Arts’ Open Studio series continues on most Fridays. The roster varies all summer. Drop by 5 to 7 p.m. to meet the artists at 8 Water St., Castine.
