The Deer Isle Artists Association presents “Moon Rise,” an exhibition of works celebrating the luminosity and inspiration of the season, from Sept. 23 to Oct. 18.
A reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 26.
A range of mediums will be on display, including painting, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry and basketry.
Featured in this show are Cynthia Bourque Simonds, Christopher Brumfield, Ethan Cohen, Kathy Colson, Mary Eaton, Judy Holder, Woodly Osborne, Alice McKenna, Recherche, Judy Scheck, Robert Starkey, Cynthia Stroud-Watson and Tanya Washburn.
Coming this winter, the popular “Art for the Holidays” begins on Dec. 12, showcasing works for collecting and holiday gift giving.
