“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” — Albert Camus

As fall settles in and the colors around us deepen, October brings a season of reflection, rhythm and renewed inspiration. At Art Space Gallery, we’re celebrating this vibrant shift with a Front Room Show that highlights four of our distinctive member artists.

This month features the thoughtful landscapes of Sandra Lemmerman, dream-infused landscapes of Linda Murray, the vibrant fused glass forms of Shelley Nolan, and the expressive, imaginative paintings of Jody Solow. Though each artist works in a variety of  mediums and styles, their shared love of color, energy and organic flow offers a dynamic and uplifting experience.

Join us for Art Walk Rockland from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 3 to see this engaging show in person. While you’re here, explore the full gallery and discover the diverse work of all 16 member artists, from paintings and photography to sculpture and fine craft.

On Oct. 19, Rockland will host the last Sunday Stroll of the 2025 season.

Art Space Gallery, a fine art cooperative owned and operated by Maine artists, is located at 405 Main St., Rockland. October hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. See artspacemaine.com for details.
