Belfast author Linda Buckmaster will celebrate the launch of her new book, “Journey Waters: Poems, Prose, Places,” with a reading and reception at Local Color Gallery in Belfast from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 9. The reading will start at 2:30 p.m., followed by a reception.
In “Journey Waters,” Buckmaster revisits the home waters of her Florida childhood and shares traveling reflections from Mexico, Portugal, Newfoundland, Scotland and Maine — her home of more than 50 years.
Poet Carl Little calls the book “a compelling hybrid of a collection — poetry, prose, memoir, travelogue — that highlights Linda Buckmaster’s special sense of self and place, the two often wonderfully intertwined.”
