Opening Reception: Sunday, February 15th, from 5-7pm – Free and open to all! Also on View: Works by Spotlight Artist Rhonda Miller. Rhonda Miller loves creating artworks in different media—paintings, drawings, metalwork, large cement sculptures—but she often favors acrylic paint for its flexibility and variable effects, which suit her tendency to work quickly and with multiple concepts. Rhonda is a member of several regional art associations and exhibits her work at galleries and other local venues. Among a wide variety of recent projects, she has worked on daily engagement with a yearlong painting, writing a book on creativity, opening and running a gallery, attending residencies, teaching and working at a wildlife center to establish an annual art show fundraiser. Currently, Rhonda is developing a residency program for artists. – – – Founded in 1958, The Kittery Art Association Gallery and Shop is located at 2 Walker Street, in the heart of Kittery Foreside. Gallery Hours: Thursday through Sunday, 11am-5pm Fires Within celebrates the intensity, energy, and depth of human passion. This exhibition explores the sparks that drive us—creative obsession, love, desire, ambition, and the emotional forces that compel us to act, create, and connect. Passion is portrayed not just as a burst of feeling, but as a transformative energy that shapes our lives and experiences.
