The Union of Maine Visual Artists presents “Bodies in Motion,” an exhibition of work in various media at Zoot Coffee in Camden, running April 1 through 30.
The show features 19 artists: Hillary Steinau, Cynthia Motian McGuirl, Jess Lauren Lipton, Charlie Newton, Maryjean Viano Crowe, Mackenzie Martin, Jorge Pena, Rachel Robbins, Shanna McNair, Kristi Marsh, Jeanne Maguire, Emily Sabino, Timothy Crawford Wilson, Jon Taner, Sue Garret, Jean Kigel, Sally Stanton, Sandy Willcox and Liz Kalloch.
Juror Alicia Ethridge selected works that encompass human and animal bodies, celestial, astrological and cellular bodies, and bodies of water.
An artists’ reception is scheduled for April 4, from 1 to 3 p.m., with refreshments available for purchase from Zoot. The coffee shop is located at 5 Elm St., Camden, and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
