Meetinghouse Arts in Freeport held a flower painting workshop with artist Kat Gifford on May 31, offering participants an introduction to gestural sketching, color blocking and working with light and value.
On view through June 6 is “Refresh: Artist Spring Studio Sale,” an opportunity to purchase work by gallery artists at reduced prices as they make room for new inventory.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
