The Deer Isle Artists Association in Deer Isle Village is presenting its second show of the 2026 summer season, “Songs of the Sea,” on view June 16 to 28. The exhibition evokes the rolling landscapes and bracing seascapes of the Maine coast through a broad range of mediums, including painting, drawing, printmaking, basketry, jewelry, glass and ceramics.
Featured artists include Sue Bolton, Christopher Brumfield, Katherine Carlson, Judith Felch, Judy Holder, Patrick Keating, Joy Kleeman, Alice McKenna, Thomas Moore, Rick Osann, John Rohman, Jeanne Rotunda, Linda Smiley and Tracy Van Buskirk.
The public is invited to a reception with the artists from 3 to 5 p.m. June 19.
The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The gallery’s next show, “Second Sight,” opens June 30.
