The Zillman Art Museum in Bangor will celebrate its 80th anniversary with “Glitz and Glamor,” a gala from 5 to 10:30 p.m. June 27 in the garden at 40 Harlow St. The evening will feature music, dancing and hors d’oeuvres and beverages, with guests encouraged to dress as fancy, glittery or casual as they like.
For 80 years, the Zillman Art Museum has presented dynamic exhibitions and educational programming for the region, along with access to its exceptional art collection.
Two ticket options are available: the Red Carpet Affair, from 5 to 10:30 p.m. for $60, and the Glitterati Dance Party, from 8 to 10:30 p.m. for $35. Tickets can be purchased by calling 207-581-3300 or online, and will also be available at the door.
The gala is presented by Birchbrook, with the University of Maine Foundation as event sponsor and Snowman Group as printing sponsor.
