Kyle Browne creates Time-lapse drawings that seek to unearth and capture the unobserved movement and change that occurs within a site-specific natural setting. Once a site is chosen, the shadows of its flora are duplicated repeatedly on paper with building levels of graphite to grasp the intangible, fleeting moments of time.

Chris iFrench s a painter of the ordinary with early childhood inspiration from Andrew Wyeth. This show highlights and honors the landscapes we pass, but don’t see. He revels in the artifacts created by time. These are on display in abundance across the state of Maine, where human objects enjoy aging in grace, allowing nature to delicately take them back. He can light up a gray day; he can glorify a wood pile; he can get lost in the moss growing on a forgotten roof. He is talented in many painting styles including portraiture, as well as a respected Harvard cancer research physician-scientist.

Ananda Kalsa draws inspiration from natural forms and the vibrant luminosity of natural gemstones. She strives to capture the precious quality found in ancient jewelry, while creating pieces with a modern sensibility. Some of Ananda’s pieces contain an original painting on paper, which is set behind crystal in sterling silver or 22k gold. An important influence in Ananda’s work is the powerful symbolism behind each of the subjects she chooses to paint.
