Fridays, June 5 – September 25 | 9 AM–1 PM
Waterfall Arts has kicked off the 14th season of its Summer Art Market, a beloved community tradition showcasing a rotating cast of talented Maine artists and makers every Friday throughout the summer. The market takes place from 9 AM–1 PM on the lawn at Waterfall Arts alongside the original Belfast Farmers’ Market.
Running through September 25, the Summer Art Market invites locals and visitors alike to explore an eclectic selection of handmade Maine art and gifts, including ceramics, jewelry, clothing, paintings, prints, and more. With a different mix of artists featured each week, every visit offers new opportunities to discover unique, locally made work.
Over the past 14 years, the Waterfall Arts Summer Art Market has become a vibrant destination for both residents and tourists seeking one-of-a-kind creations from Maine makers. Whether searching for a special handmade souvenir, the perfect gift, or something unique for the home, shoppers can connect directly with artists while supporting Maine’s creative economy.

“The Waterfall Arts Summer Art Market is a wonderful opportunity to support local artists while enjoying the energy and community spirit of Friday mornings in Belfast,” said Cate Bradbury, Art Market Coordinator. “We’re excited to once again welcome shoppers to discover high-quality handmade work in a beautiful outdoor setting.”
Held alongside the Belfast Farmers’ Market, the Summer Art Market offers visitors the perfect pairing of art and agriculture, creating one of Belfast’s favorite weekly gatherings. Guests are encouraged to shop local, meet Maine artists, and enjoy a lively community atmosphere throughout the season.
