The Boothbay Region Art Foundation in Boothbay Harbor is accepting submissions for “ARTinME 2026,” its fourth annual juried exhibition celebrating large-format art.

The exhibition, on view from Sept. 30 to Nov. 7, is open to full- and part-time Maine artists working in large two-dimensional formats in a variety of media and styles. Two-dimensional works must measure at least 900 square inches, such as a 30-by-30-inch piece; frames do not count toward the size requirement. Small sculptures are also welcome.

Maine artists Björn Runquist and Tollef Runquist will serve as jurors. Björn Runquist is a plein air painter known for depictions of Maine’s working waterfronts that combine the American luminist tradition with a contemporary sensibility. Tollef Runquist takes an experimental approach to painting, blending abstraction with experiences of place and perception.

Prizes will be awarded during an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 3.

The prospectus and submission form are available at boothbayartists.org.
