
The Deer Isle Artists Association presents “Shared Visions,” a collaborative exhibition on view through Sept. 27 at the DIAA Gallery in Deer Isle Village.
Artists partnered in pairs and trios to create work incorporating painting, ceramics, weaving, metal and the written word.
Featured artists are Marianne Alweis, June Kellogg, HB Wilmott, Sarah Baskin, David McBeth, Don Bardole, Jeri Gillin, Sarah Doremus, Maureen Farr, Jill Finsen, Emily Johansen, Erik Meijer, Ann van Buren, Nicoletta Siccone, Frederica Marshall, Kathleen Varadi and Carol Walsh.
The gallery will host a public reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 18, when visitors can meet the artists and hear presentations about their work.
The DIAA Gallery is at 15 Main St., Deer Isle Village. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
