As THE Oldest Art Society in the Nation, Bangor Art Society is coming up on our 142nd birthday February, 2017. We deeply appreciate support in this event that directly benefits the artists in our group! This year, as last year, we are not mandating canvas stamping and we are allowing artists to create pieces in the greater Bangor area from October 1st thru the 19th!
Then, Thursday, October 20th we will have our live “wet-paint” auction at the celebrated Tarrantine, 81 Park Street, Bangor! Patron viewing of the art begins at 5:30pm, and bidding will commence at 7:00pm sharp. Auctioneer will be a famous local celebrity!!!
Artists can register on line at TheBangorArtSociety.com or via mail,or in person at 4:30 at the Tarrantine. Registration is $25.00 for B.A.S. members and $35.00 for non-members. People may join the Society on line too to receive the discounted rate!
