Become With Me Françoise Gervais
Work by Françoise Gervais.

The work of Blue Hill-based artist Françoise Gervais is on view in “Come See Nature Speak” at Friend Memorial Public Library in Brooklin through the end of September.

For more than 50 years, Gervais has created provocative, mysterious and compelling visual art that speaks for nature. Her recent work combines pastels, acrylic paint, typography, illustration and fine art photography to create montages depicting the natural world.

“To have my artwork speak for Nature — THIS is my life’s work,” Gervais wrote in her artist statement.
