Scott Offen, “Grace in Petasites Japonicus.”

The Maine Museum of Photographic Arts in Portland is presenting two exhibitions featuring the work of Joyce Tenneson, Carol Eisenberg and Scott Offen through Dec. 5.

The museum’s main gallery features photographs by Tenneson and Eisenberg, while its smaller gallery presents “Grace,” a solo exhibition and book launch by Offen.

“Grace” explores the creative partnership between Offen and his wife, Grace, challenging traditional distinctions between photographer and subject. The intimate photographs document a collaboration that extends beyond the camera into the couple’s shared life.

The exhibition accompanies Offen’s book of the same name, published by L’Artiere Edizion. The Offen family will donate all proceeds from the exhibition to the museum’s annual appeal, with visitors able to support the fundraiser through purchases of photographs and books.

Eisenberg will give an artist talk from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 23. A talk and book signing with Offen will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 20.
