York Art Association in York Harbor will open its final exhibition of 2026, “Patterns of Reflection,” with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6. Members of the Piscataqua Garden Club will create floral arrangements inspired by individual artworks as part of an “Art in Bloom” program. The arrangements will remain on display through the weekend.

During the reception and throughout the weekend, visitors can also place silent bids on a hand-painted Adirondack chair donated by artist Wendy Turner. Proceeds will support the association’s Renovate 2026 capital fund.

The gallery will offer “Gouache: The Other Watercolor,” a workshop led by Michael Walek, from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 10. Participants will explore a directionally lit still life of flowering plants against a colorful patterned background, using opaque watercolor and colored paper. The registration fee is $65.

The association’s annual members meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, with a review of the coming fiscal year’s budget, board elections and refreshments.

A community open house will follow from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27. Visitors can view “Patterns of Reflection,” browse the gift shop and see the gallery’s recent building renovations.
