Dog Days of Summer Art Show
at Saltwater Artists Gallery in New Harbor

Saltwater Artists Gallery in New harbor will be holding an opening Reception for its “Dog Days of Summer” show on Sunday, August 18 from 3-5 PM. The public is invited to tour the gallery, enjoy refreshments, and meet the artists. The show will be a two week celebration of summer on the Maine coast and will run through Labor Day. There will be door prizes at the reception, as well as a grand prize raffle drawing at the end of the show for a portrait of the winner’s dog done by artist Mary Buergin. The gallery will also be donating the proceeds of the sales of glass dog magnets created by glass artist Pam Wilcox to Midcoast Humane. The show will feature the wide ranging work of its 27 member artists – painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glasswork, woodturning, printmaking, pottery, and fiber arts. Something for everyone. Saltwater Artists Gallery is located a quarter mile before Pemaquid Lighthouse on Rte. 130 in New Harbor.
