The Center for Maine Contemporary Art invites artists to take part in an ArtLab for All Ages workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 5 in the CMCA courtyard.

Participants will join CMCA’s Education Coordinator Mia Bogyo for a fun, painted paper collage-making activity, inspired by artist Meghan Brady’s bold, mural-sized work Feverdream, on view in the CMCA lobby. Workshop participants are also invited to contribute to a collective, temporary large-scale collage being created on the courtyard windows opposite Feverdream.

Following CDC guidelines, the workshop will be offered by reservation with 20 seats available. Stay for the entire workshop or just an hour. The workshop is free of charge, but reservations are required. To reserve, email Mia Bogyo at [email protected].

The workshop will also be streamed live at facebook.com/cmcanow, for those who prefer to participate virtually.

CMCA is located at 21 Winter St., Rockland, Maine. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, go to https://cmcanow.org/event/artlab-for-all-ages-september-2020.
