Moss Galleries and Maine artist Charlie Hewitt partnered with United Way and WEX (NYSE: WEX) for an exhibition of art in the digital age.

“Charlie Hewitt: Bright Screens and Electric Dreams” was on view in January and featured 56 digital artworks in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), framed prints and neon sculptures. Coming off the success of his first digital collection, this second phase of Hewitt’s collection of NFTs was designed to find another utility for this new digital technology based on giving. While the show was in January, the work is on sale online at https://www.elizabethmossgalleries.com/exhibitions/75/works/

Purchasing a Charlie Hewitt NFT allows the buyer to simultaneously invest in art and support a good cause: 20% of each sale goes to United Way, an organization that seeks to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good, bringing people together to build strong, equitable communities where everyone can thrive. Each NFT owner will have the following benefits: commercialization rights, a signed physical print, and access to the bi-weekly newsletter “Ask Me Anything with Charlie Hewitt.”
