During April, Jean Kigel Studio + Gallery, at 1396 Back Cove Road in Waldoboro, presents “Ice Out and Northern Lights,” an exhibition of paintings celebrating the recent marvels of spring.
This month has marked the awaited “ice out” in much of Maine. It has offered the rare sightings of Aurora Borealis in Midcoast and Morthern Maine. And it has displayed the alignment of five planets in the western sky at sunset. These phenomena of nature are the subjects of Kigel’s paintings.
