Waterfall Arts will host its Holiday Pop-Up Market, a festive indoor celebration of Maine-made artistry, on Dec. 6 and 7.
This juried event will feature talented makers from across the state, transforming the building into a bustling marketplace filled with one-of-a-kind treasures.
The Member Preview will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Dec. 6 and will open to the public from 5 to 8 p.m. The pop-up will again be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7.
Guests can enjoy the warm glow of a bonfire on Friday evening and savor seasonal treats from Portable Pie Place, who will be serving refreshments and a special holiday menu both days.
Browse ceramics, jewelry, prints, textiles, paintings and more, such as Linda Stec’s wheel-thrown “Loving Cups,” glazed ceramics that support Waterfall Arts’ kids, family, and outreach programming, ensuring art remains accessible to all.
While you shop, visit the private studios and public-access spaces (clay, printmaking and glass), where local artists will also be selling their work. A special highlight this year includes works by Waterfall Arts glassblowing, printmaking and ceramics instructors.
From 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 7, bring the whole family for a special Holiday Art Together Morning. This hands-on workshop lets families craft their own recyclable, hand-stamped wrapping paper, a fun and eco-friendly tradition inspired by the Bridge Afterschool Art Club. Afterward, stick around to explore the market, enjoy artist demos, and grab lunch or treats. Please note, this workshop will be held in the print studio and is not suitable for children under 5.
Advance registration is required for Art Together Morning. One ticket covers the entire family. Reserve a spot online at waterfallarts.org or by calling 207-338-2222.
Waterfall Arts is at 256 High St., Belfast. See waterfallarts.org for details.
