On Saturday, July 26, the Castine Town Common will be transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity during Art Under the Elms, a festival celebrating the visual arts in all forms. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can stroll beneath the town’s stately elms to explore a wide range of artwork including painting, art glass, photography, graphics, drawing, mixed media, designer jewelry and sculpture.
This beloved annual event brings together artists, art lovers and community members in a charming seaside setting. Guests can enjoy cool summer beverages, appetizers, champagne, wine and beer while browsing booths filled with original artwork.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Trinitarian Congregational Parish of Castine’s Community Care & Outreach efforts, reinforcing the town’s dedication to both the arts and compassionate service.
