The Deer Isle Artists Association celebrates the creation of art with its second show of the season, “Hand and Eye,” which runs from June 13 to 26.
Appearing in this show are artists Melissa Buxton, Alan Flowers, Jo Hewitt, Leslie Landrigan, Alice McKenna, David McBeth, Richard Newman, Rochelle Newman, Robert Starkey, Marc Swartzbaugh and Hub White. The Art Rack will feature work by Ben Appleby-Maguire, Sue Bolton, Betsy Braunhut, Adell Donaghue and Katama Murray.
The public is invited to a reception with the artists from 3 to 5 p.m. June 16.
Continuing its run in the gallery until June 11 is “Simple Pleasures.”
The third show of the summer will be “Portraits,” from June 27 to July 9.
