In nature’s every moment, there is the potential to be gripped by beauty and awe, to feel deep belonging and to experience the renewal of wild mercy. Through her art, Amy Kustra reaches in to reflect back hope and grace. These paintingsm done over the course of one year of travel, are an invitation to deepen our connection with wilderness, both outside and within, and in doing so ignite the wild mercy that lights us all.
The exhibition runs from Nov. 3 to 11 at Meeting House Arts Gallery, 40 Main St., Freeport. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 4.
