Landing Gallery 409 Main St. in R, Rockland, announces the opening of “DEFINING MAINE” JULY 5 – JULY 30, an exhibition of new paintings by Russell Slocum, Michael Weymouth, Christopher French Katharine Cartwright Roberta Baumann & Bruce Busko. he Artists• Opening Reception will be held on Friday July 5th from 4-8 PM during Rockland’s First Friday Art Walk. Light refreshments will be served, and the Artists will be in attendance. Maine has long been a siren to artists and it oontin ues to excite our creative minds and talents. The clarity and defnition of Maine s natural environment inspires artists to de scribe actual or imaginary visual effects with paint Artists attempt to focus a degree of distinctiveness within each image from their personal point of view. Individualized techniques demonstrate the uniqueness of each artistic creation.
