Meet the artists and jewelers showcasing work at Shaw Jewelry

“Spirit of the Body” features work by David Neufeld at Shaw Jewelry, July 18 to 31, with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. July 18.

David Neufeld creates startling visions of his environment. This collection focuses on abstracting the human form. He merges multiple translucent images into mystical, surreal, and painterly works. He blends figures, natural environments, and architecture with layers of textures and atmospheric effects; complex patterns woven into visual narratives.

Also on view is “Collective Subconscious Masterworks,” by Anthony Lent. Anthony Lent creates astonishing detailed and allegorical sculptures in jewelry scale. The motifs are in our collective thoughts and psyches. Our consciousness is realized through his imagination and fingertips. He often starts with the human form. Rendered in high karat gold and extraordinary gemstones. Meet the artist on July 18.
