
The 2024 season of art exhibitions and programs by artists of the Ogunquit Art Association continues with their Late-Summer Exhibitions from Aug. 7 through Sept. 7.
The Gala Reception for Late Summer Exhibitions will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17. Admission to the reception is free and open to the public.
The Late Summer Exhibitions will feature “OAA Expressions” (an exhibition with a wide variety of subject and medium); Artist Showcases, featuring the work of Shaune McCarthy (painter) and Shiao Ping Wang (painter); the Expanded Collectors Gallery (featuring ready-to-hang artwork, no larger than 16×20 — and all priced no higher than $850); plus an Invited New England Sculptors exhibit in our outdoor Sculpture Court.
Barn Gallery Talk: Presenting Your Work in Book Form by Nancy R. Davison and Deloris White will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 15. This is a free event and open to the public.
Also Shiao-Ping Wang and Shaune McCarthy’s Showcase at Barn Gallery will run from Aug. 7 to Sept. 7 with an opening reception from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17 and a gallery talk with both artists at 6 p.m. Aug. 22.
Mixed Media Workshop: Bands of Color in Watercolor and Collage by Ethel Hills will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 20, led by Ogunquit Art Association artist-member Ethel Hills. Suggested workshop donation is $60.
