“Block Party!” — a group show featuring recent works by 41 local artists in a wide variety of mediums — closed April 18 at George Marshall Store Gallery in York. Works from the show remain available to browse and purchase online at georgemarshallstoregallery.com.
The gallery is open by appointment only April 19 through May 29 while the space receives new inventory and prepares for the summer season. Regular gallery hours resume May 30.
The gallery is also seeking volunteers to help with spring cleanup ahead of the season — tasks include weeding and planting, general outdoor tidying, removing storm windows and doors, and patching and painting inside the gallery. Those interested in helping can email Kate at info@georgemarshallstoregallery.com with their availability. Work is to be completed on or before the weekend of May 16.
