Salt Pond Studio welcomes Nobleboro artist Graham Walton whose work is on exhibit from June 10 to 20.
This fine young artist presents his stylized and colorful interpretations of the Maine coast, along with wonderful paintings depicting interior scenes in his unique interpretive style. Also a singer-songwriter, Walton has a long heritage on the Maine coast. Hailing from a family of shipwrights, he has melded his life story into intriguing contemporary works of art.
The exhibit “Circle Of Friends 2” will be shown from June 24 to July 11 featuring artist friends of Salt Pond Studio, including Phoebe Bly, Linda Mahoney, Laura Waller, Stephen Hensel, Edie Armstrong, Joel “Wolfie” Wessel, Chris Augusta, Katharine Cartwright, Brian Woods, Jean Kigel and Dick Kubek.
As always, a selection of paintings by gallery owner Pam Cabañas will be available.
Salt Pond Studio is at 522 Cushing Road, Friendship. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Call 207-691-5787 or go to www.saltpondstudio.com for more information.
