An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 31 at Artemis Gallery for its seventh show of the season. The show features four artists, glass artist Annie Curtis, landscape and watercolor painter Diana Roper Mcdowell, abstract and encaustic painter Tamara Gonda and wildlife oil painter Gina Swan.
A portion of the sales from the show will benefit the Mount Desert Nursing Association.
The show will remain up through Sept. 13.
