Albert Einstein once said, “Creativity is contagious, pass it on.” And that is just what the artists of Art Space Gallery are doing.
While they enjoy the pleasure of creating, they also love to watch the faces of visitors when they see and respond to the work.
The gallery will reopen for the season with “Blue And Yellow,” the first show of the year. The group, themed exhibit will be shown in the Front Room area. Each member was invited to create a piece that was their interpretation of that theme.
In May, the gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
It will also be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 3 during Rockland’s First Friday Art Walk.
Art Space Gallery, a fine art cooperative owned and operated by Maine artists, is located at 405 Main St., Rockland. Visit the newly updated website at artspacemaine.com, and sign up for the monthly newsletter.
