Mars Hall Gallery in Martinsville opened its 2026 season over Memorial Day weekend as part of the annual St. George community event “Sails into the Season,” with the gallery open May 22 to 24 and by appointment on Memorial Day.

The gallery presents an eclectic mix of works across mediums. Watercolorists include Leo Brooks, Nat Lewis, Cam Noel, Elaine Reed and Carl Sublett. Acrylic and oil paintings are by Elena Jahn, Kris Johnson, Constance Kiermaier, Sharon Larkin, Maurice Michel Lode, Elaine Niemi, Charles Wilder Oaks, Manuel Rincon, Ron Weaver, Georgia Zaychenko and James Zoller. Mixed media collage is represented by Roderick Slater, Pietro Stanziale and Eleanor Zuccola.

Three-dimensional work is by Ian Baird, Bill Cook, Constance Kiermaier, Bill Nichols, Elaine Niemi and Rudy Rotter. Quality crafts include decoupage by Davene Fahy, carved wooden utensils by Baird, and stained glass, pottery, mosaics and repurposed furniture by Dona Bergen. Brian Read’s “The Recycled Zoo” is on display in the gardens, alongside a collection of antiques and collectibles, vintage and silver jewelry, original 1960s and ‘70s rock posters and new and used books.

Gallery hours in June are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday and by appointment.
